This is a high-performance 72V 42Ah battery with a peak power of 28kW. It features upgraded components, including more nickel sheet for lower resistance and heat, a larger hybrid BMS providing an additional 80 Amps, reinforced lifting straps, and new graphics. The battery is designed for controllers like ASI BAC4000, ASI BAC8000, EBMX X 9000, KO Controllers, Nuclear controllers, and others up to 180A continuous and 400A peak at 20KW.
The battery is not compatible with the original X Controller and offers 57.5% more watt-hours (3024) compared to standard batteries, providing three times the power discharge (amps). It uses Molicell p42A 21700 cells with an ANT Hybrid Bluetooth BMS, offering full battery protection, individual cell wrapping, and a sturdy stainless steel case for durability.
Specifications include 20s10p Molicell p42A 21700 cells, Bluetooth ANT BMS set at 400A peak and 220A constant, 16kW full battery protection, and an integrated handle for easy installation. Charging is via an XT60 connector, and the battery is designed to fit seamlessly into the Sur Ron bike.
The kit does not include a charger, and recommended chargers can be found separately. Installation may require adjustments for bike frame variations. Charging precautions are emphasized, including a balance charge for the first time. A 12-month warranty covers manufacturing defects, excluding misuse or accidental damage. The battery is considered hazardous, and safety precautions are advised.
